ExodusPoint, Invesco, BitGo Headline Week of Desk Talent Moves
ANZ loses at least 10 senior bankers to a restructure; ExodusPoint, Invesco, Barclays, BitGo and Eventus all add trading and market-structure talent this week.

Execution notes
- Jade Beckmann joins ExodusPoint's London equity desk from Pictet Asset Management after three years trading equities there.
- Tim Clavin becomes deputy head of ETF capital markets for the Americas at Invesco, joining from BlackRock after a prior decade at Vanguard.
- ANZ combines corporate finance, research and capital management into a unit led by former CRO Kevin Corbally; at least 10 senior bankers depart.
At least 10 senior bankers are leaving ANZ as the bank folds corporate finance, research and analysis, and capital management into a single unit led by former chief risk officer Kevin Corbally — the sharpest structural move in a week that also saw Jade Beckmann join ExodusPoint in London, Tim Clavin take a deputy ETF capital-markets role at Invesco in New York, and Greg Cipolaro launch BitGo Research as head of research.
For desks, the changes touch execution coverage on several fronts: multi-manager equities, ETF liquidity, electronic trading sales, trade surveillance and marketplace infrastructure.
ExodusPoint adds buy-side equities trader
ExodusPoint Capital Management hired Jade Beckmann as an equity trader on its London desk. Beckmann joins the multi-manager hedge fund after three years trading equities at Pictet Asset Management. Earlier she worked at Bloomberg across equities, financial products, analytics and sales. She was named one of The TRADE's Rising Stars of Trading and Execution.
Eventus appoints Biondo to product and regulatory post
Jay Biondo joined Eventus as head of Product & Regulatory Affairs, owning product strategy and the roadmap for the Validus trade-surveillance platform. He arrives from Trading Technologies, where he served as head of Surveillance. His background also includes FINRA and enforcement-attorney work at the Illinois Secretary of State Securities Department. The appointment places a regulator-turned-vendor executive over surveillance tooling used by banks, broker-dealers and exchanges — a relevant datapoint for compliance desks weighing surveillance-vendor roadmaps.
Hosking Partners and Velocity Trade add dealing-desk experience
Hosking Partners appointed Emma Tapp as an equity trader. Tapp spent 12 years at Highclere International Investors, the last stretch as head of trading since 2018, and is also a former Rising Stars of Trading and Execution honoree.
Velocity Trade hired Freddie Dolcezza for its APAC equities desk in Sydney. Dolcezza joins from Stifel, where he traded equities for two years on the UK corporate and small-cap market-making team — a business Stifel is winding down. Before that he spent more than seven years at Hargreaves Lansdown, moving from equity dealer to market dealer.
Clavin moves from BlackRock to Invesco ETF capital markets
Tim Clavin joined Invesco as deputy head of ETF capital markets for the Americas, based in New York. He comes from BlackRock, where he was a vice president leading ETF trading solutions across institutional and wealth channels. He previously spent a decade at Vanguard, including fixed-income product management. The hire adds execution and liquidity expertise to Invesco's ETF business as the firm builds out its capital-markets leadership globally — coverage institutional desks should expect to see reflected in capital-markets engagement.
Barclays staffs quant prime services
Barclays hired Jack Hill for its London-based quant prime services desk, covering equities electronic trading across EMEA with a focus on direct market access and low-latency execution. Hill spent more than three years at Euronext, most recently as equity sales manager for the UK and Ireland, with earlier roles in execution trading at Credit Suisse, client coverage at UBS and FX trading at JNFX.
BitGo launches research arm under Cipolaro
BitGo appointed Greg Cipolaro head of research as it launches BitGo Research, a new institutional research operation covering digital assets, markets and infrastructure. Cipolaro joins from NYDIG, where he was global head of research and previously led strategy; his published work has centered on institutional adoption and market structure. The move adds a dedicated research function to a firm expanding across custody, trading, financing and other institutional crypto services.
Broadridge names Lahovitsky president of Wealth Management
Boaz Lahovitsky joined Broadridge as president of Wealth Management, succeeding Mike Alexander, who stays on strategic initiatives. Lahovitsky arrives from J.P. Morgan, where he was managing director of Personal Advisors and led the bank's hybrid-advice business for mass-affluent clients. His more than 20 years include senior roles at Vanguard, Citi, Genpact, UBS and Booz Allen Hamilton.
Connamara brings in Kenny as senior advisor
Connamara Technologies appointed Pat Kenny senior advisor for global engagement, advising leadership on strategic relationships, customer development, market direction and industry engagement around EP3, its exchange, clearing and market-surveillance platform. Kenny's background includes senior client-relations leadership at CQG, chairmanship of the Association of Futures Markets, and board roles at FIA Tech and The Small Exchange. Connamara is positioning EP3 across exchanges, clearinghouses, prediction markets and tokenized-asset platforms.
ANZ restructures corporate finance
John Corrin, Andrew Harward, Ian Mathews, David Roberts and Aaron Ross are among at least 10 senior bankers leaving ANZ. The departures cut across project, export, asset, sustainable and acquisition finance as well as structured-finance leadership. The new combined unit under Corbally represents a significant reshaping of the bank's financing and capital-management operations.
With hires spanning execution, surveillance and infrastructure, the week's movement signals where firms are placing capacity: multi-manager equities desks, ETF capital markets, low-latency EMEA coverage, and institutional digital-asset research.
